Hourly to Salary Calculator
Enter your hourly wage and weekly hours to see what you make per year, month, week, and day. The default assumes a standard full-time schedule of 40 hours per week for all 52 weeks of the year.
Working part time or taking unpaid time off? Change the weeks per year to match your real schedule - 48 weeks accounts for about a month of unpaid leave or vacation that is not paid.
How the calculation works
The conversion is simple multiplication:
Annual salary = hourly rate × hours per week × weeks per year
Worked example: a wage of $22/hour at 35 hours per week for 50 weeks gives $22 × 35 × 50 = $38,500 per year. Monthly pay divides by 12; weekly pay divides by the weeks you actually work, not by 52, so unpaid time off does not distort the number.
